My Creative Time's 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS ~DAY 11

YAY! The weekend is finally here!! I'm so glad because I deserve some much needed time with my family!! We are on DAY 11 of the 12 day's of Christmas blog hop..WOW, that was fast! Although I'm sad to see it end, I'm very happy you could join us! For my project, I made a canvas using rolled up patten paper. I have seen this done on several Christmas cards. I have also seen Jinger Adams from Provo Crafts make a canvas using this technique. I painted a white canvas with red metallic paint. I made swirls using an old gift card while the paint was still wet. I then added the green paint and did the same technique.  I cut 13 strips at six inches in width and starting at 10.5 in length,  I cut each strip half an inch shorter for each layer. (I hope that makes sense). I then rolled each strip using a pencil.I cut a brown piece of cardstock for the stump of the tree and added a snowflake as my star. I found the snowflake at the dollar store.  I then added MCT All Around Accessories to make my cute little snowman and MCT Scalloped and Stitched Circle Die for the center of my snowflakes.. I think it came out pretty cute! I hope you enjoyed today's project. Make sure you visit Miss Emma for more great creations!
