Thrifty Thursday at My Creative Time

Happy Thursday to all my scrappy friends! Today is Thrifty Thursday at My Creative Time! I love this because Its a great way to use all of your scraps and left over scrapbooking supplies that you may have lying around. I have SEVERAL of these little piles around my scrapbooking room. I hate throwing things away and try to use them up in my Smash Books. I think thats why my pages kind of look "junky". LOL. I don't mind this look because I think its fun and easy. The point is to get it documented right? Well what a great way to use those left over MCT dies cuts right? I have a ton of those too! I also like to pre cut MCT dies using my left over scraps. Sorry about the lighting. This was in my scrapbooking room and the light is horrible in there.

Scrapping the Little Things

Welcome to another My Creative Time Scrapping the Little Things! Man it feels like forever since my last post! Today I am sharing this simple Smash page I made while I was camping a few weeks back. Yes I do smash when I camp. What else is there to do? LOL. Anyways, I can not get enough of Emma's products! I just love using them in my smash pages! Remember, no rules in smashing. This is my summer smash book that I'm STILL working on! LOL...you can make it simple or make it with tons of details. Its up to you! I printed the picture at Walgreens since they offer Instagram pictures which you can order directly from you phone. Pretty cool huh.

Inspire Me Tuesday at My Creative Time

Hello and welcome to another Inspire Me Tuesday at My Creative Time! Today were creating projects which were inspired by another project or by anything in general. I love the new speech bubbles and wanted to use the "chalk" technique Emma used on her Blog Hop card for this past release. I love the chalkboard look and wanted to used my chalk board DCWV paper I got over a year ago! So I wanted to see if I can write my own messages on it..And I can! I used a white jelly pen to write my message. I hate my penmanship but you get the idea right? I can't wait to incorporate the paper and the bubble dies into my smash books! How fun right???

My Creative Time 3D Wednesday

Welcome to another fabulous My Creative Time 3D Wednesday! I am so excited to share my project for you today! I have been working on this for a few weeks now and I'm finally done with it! I bought this house from Hobby Lobby. Its one of those paper mache houses that can be altered. I added a ton of  stuff I had left over from one of my kids science projects. I used a lot of fake grass and weeds that are normally used for missions. I painted the house black and added texture to the roof top. I'm planning to make a mini album to put inside the house. I made the fence out of popsicle sticks and added halloween webs.

I added a bunch of MCT stamps and dies to decorate the house. There are ghosts and pumpkins,  just to name a few! I just love how this turned out! It was a lot of work but it was well worth it!

Scrapping the Little Things

Happy Monday and Happy Labor Day! I hope you are having a fabulous Monday so far! Today is another fabulous Scrapping the Little Things here at My Creative Time. I love these days beacuase I get to catch up on my layouts and smash pages. Today I have two projects to share. The first one is a Smash Page I made in my Summer Smash Book. I hope to  catch up one day...ugh..Thats why I love these challenges..They help me focus on the little things..The second project is a layout I made for the youtube layout hop that my friend and I host each month on youtube.
