August Youtube Layout Hop

Welcome to another fabulous Youtube Layout Hop!!! Today's theme was "free style". Honestly, I tend to scrapbook by the way Im feeling. Sometimes good, sometimes bad..In the end I have beautiful layouts and projects that I can share with my kids. I took this picture of my father a few weeks ago when we took a trip out to the ocean, I don't know what he was thinking at the time but I admired his expression. I love that man more then he knows!!! I wanted to preserve this photo so of course I scrapbooked it before it got lost with all the other photos..

Our sponsor todays the very talented Miss Liz! She has a fabulous store so make sure you check her out here

MCT August Stamp Release Day #4

Welcome to Day #4 of the My Creative Time Sneak Peek Week!! Im so excited to share todays project with you! We are show casing the new 3 by 3 Fancy Envelope and Tri-fold Card. These are some awesome dies!!! I had way too much fun playing with them! Today I created two projects using the envelope die. My first project is a card/gift card holder for a special friend. The envelope does not hold a standard gift card but a paper gift certificate will easily slip inside. For my second project I made a min album using the die. The album is put together using the accordion fold binding. The mini is held together using a paper belly band. I will have a tutorial for you tomorrow on the accordion binding.

August MCT Stamp Release Day #3

Welcome to Day #3 of the My Creative Time August Stamp Release. Today we are featuring the "Just Simple Live" stamp set. Although I was not scheduled for todays set,  I just wanted to show you how versatile this set is! As you know I have really gotten into Smash Books recently! Well guess what, I smashed a page using this awesome set!! This set is so perfect for Smashing!! I am in love with the polaroid die!!!! Here are two pages I made using the set!

Scraps

One great thing about Smashing is that there is really no rime or reason. No rules. I usually use my left over scraps to make a page. With the Polaroid die, you can pre cut your paper and be ready to smash at any time! Don't get me wrong, you can also use this for layouts and cards. Come back on Friday and I will show you the mini I used with this set!  Also if you want more smash book ideas, check out my videos on the left of the screen. Take care and bigs hugs!!!

August MCT Stamp Release Day #2

Welcome to day #2 of the August My Creative Time Sneak Peek Week! I am so excited to share my project for you today. Who said its too early for Christmas? I have seen a ton of Christmas decor all over my local craft stores. Today I wanted to share this layout I made using the It's a Magical Season set. I love this set! I stamped my title with the sentiment "Magical Holiday". This sentiment can be used for pretty much any holiday though. I used a plain white card stock for my layout and sprayed it with Mister Huey's Spray. Did you see the washi tape? Well take another look.. The red "washi" is actually the banner from the MCT Just Simply Live! Isn't that awesome! You will have to wait until Wednesday for a glimpse of the set.  LOVE!
