Thoughtful Thursday at My Creative Time

Welcome to another ThoughtfulThursday at My Creative Time! I hope you guys are having a fabulous day! It feels like so long since I've been on my laptop! This flu that has been going around has got the best of me and the family. I can officially say that Im getting better as the days go by. We are still dealing with sniffles and things like that but at least the kids are up and around! So today we are creating a project to "lift" someones spirit or give a little encouragement to someone in need. I made this card for someone special in my life to remind her how much I appreciate her as a friend. You have no idea how much one simple card can make a person feel. This is why I make cards. I am very blessed! 

I just love how this card turned out! I love the layers! Did you see my stems? Yup. I used twine from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique. Super cute right! I just love MCT stamps and Dies!!!!!!

MCT Designer Challenge

Hello MCT Peeps! Its Nancy here and it's my turn to pick a challenge! Since I'm the Smashy gal in the group, I had to make it a smashy kind of challenge. I wanted to incorporate a memento, or keepsake into our project. Pull out those ticket stubs or recipets you have been saving and make a layout, card or smash page! I love saving these little mementos because you will have something to look back at years down the road! I still have some old baseball tickets from 1996! Im so glad I kept those! 

For my project, I used the Lowercase Fun Dies for my title.  I added a  Tag Die for my hidden journaling.  This is a picture of me and the hubby on our date night. I took a menu brochure with me as we left the restaurant! :) I just love how this turned out!

MCT February Release Blog Hop

Happy Friday and welcome to the My Creative Time February Release Blog Hop! If you have arrived from Micia's Blog, you are on the right place. Up next is Miss Nikki. Have you been following along during this sneak peek week? Unfortunately I was unable to join in because of an illness. But we are on the road to recovery! Im so glad I got a chance to play with this release though! Every time I think Emma has out done herself, she does it again! Today, for my project, I made a mini album using this chipboard album by Basic Grey. I took several photos of my kids for our Christmas Card. I loved all the photos and wanted to keep them in a mini. Below you will find the links to each stamp or die I used for each page. I kept this mini simple because I wanted to showcase the photos more then anything. I just love how this turned out!
