Praying..

Hello my dear bloggers!! Im sitting here thinking about how a person's life can change in a split second..I remember when my life was perfect (in my eyes), career, family, etc..then things happened which change the course of my life..I cannot think of what our family future holds but I Pray that GOD will lead us in the right direction. I KNOW He will. The only thing that has helped me through these tough times is crafting. If you are not a crafter you might not understand..But if you are, you know crafting helps you escape from your daily troubles...Ive have been documenting my families summer adventures in my Smash* Book. Sorry if this is getting too personal but I was here thinking about my dear friend Emma and her sick son. My son was super sick the other day and ended up in the hospital as well. It's the scariest feeling in the world. I am praying for her son Arron and his full recovery.

What ever happens, its for a reason and God will be with us through it all. Im not a religious person but I still have my faith and my love for God. Here are a few Smash pages I have finish.

Make sure you check out my series on Youtube.

Here is a picture of me and my partner during happier times....

Prayers and hugs to you! Do not take your health for granted!

MCT June Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the My Creative Time June release blog hop. If you came from Micia's blog, you are in the right place. Im so excited to finally be able to show you this release! This set is so much fun! I love the little vintage kids! They are super cute! For my project today I created this pop up mini album. I bought the actual template at a scrapbook expo a while back. It was completely white when I purchased it. I found a similar template online if you would like to give it a try. Click here for the link. The width of the album is 24 inches!  It looks small in the picture but I assure you that it is not! For the cover, I used the Fly with Me Stamps Sets and Dies. I cut out the kite by hand but the airplane is an actual die. There are several of the MCT stamps and dies through out this album.

Fathers Day Card

Hi all! I hope you had a fabulous weekend!! I just wanted to share this quick and simple card I made using My Creative Time Stamps. The sentiment is from the More Gift Card Sentiments Stamp Set. I made two of these cute little cards, one for my daddy and one for my hubby. I used the Londonerry Paper Collection by Prima. I used the Indie Cricut cartridge to cut out the little tools. The pocket die is from MCT Fun Pocket Stamp Set. I bought the brads from an Expo and I am not sure which company makes them (sorry). Love how clean and simple they turned out!

Happy Father's Day to my hero, my dad! Love him so very much. I am blessed to have him in my life!

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great week! Hugs

"Scrappy Monday" Challenge!

Happy Monday My Creative Time Peeps! It's a start of a new week and I have been working hard on a few projects for my BFF's wedding. I just finished making 50 party favors (of course I used MCT stamps and dies) and wow what a workout for my hands! Its well worth it though! Today we are having a "Scrappy Monday Challenge" here at MCT using the sketch below. As part of this challenge, we are supposed to use any kind of fibers, twine, etc. I used Liz's Paper Loft's awesome jute! I used my Imagine to cut most of my layers. This layout is going to be a gift for my friend at her wedding. Im planning to put it in a shadow box. I used several of MCT stamps for this layout including my favorite Tag Die! Love the colors and the over all finished product!

Tim Holtz Distress Ink

When I saw these colors, I thought of the October Afternoon paper line!! I  love these colors!! I used the Fun Pockets Stamp Set to create this cute layout of my daughter. How perfect were these stamps with the layout!!! CUTE!! I forgot how much fun it was to play with my Imagine!! My poor baby was collecting dust!
