MCT Recycled Project

Happy Thursday!!! We are kicking off the pre-weekend with this awesome challenge! Veronica (MCT Designer) picked this weeks challenge. We had to use a recycled item. This was an easy challenge because I re-use a ton of stuff. Especially packaging! This is my sons favorite gummy snack. I used the box for  the front and back covers of my album. I used the accordion binding as shown on my previous albums. How cute is this! My son loves Thomas the Train! We recently went to an event called "A Day out with Thomas". It was a railroad museum with Thomas the Train theme! We even rode on Thomas!!! My son was in heaven! How perfect are the MCT clouds for this album!!! I love how it turned out!!! Oh and Ironically, my sons middle name is Thomas!! (named after his papa)

Each page is a pocket filled with tags with more photos.

I cut strips of chipboard to make the tracks..This is my sons favorite part of the book!

  3. Awesome project! Maybe I'm drawn to it because my little boy was a big Thomas fan, (but he recently decided to pack up his Trackmaster Thomas trains and sets--broke my heart!) I'll still be making one of these mini albums with our memories--thanks for sharing!
