K and Co Cut N Paste Designer Paper to make this fun 12 by 12 layout of mys kids first day of school. I love this paper. I also used some of my favorite Tim Holtz tools to complete the layout. I made some flowers using tissue tape found at Roberts Arts and Crafts. They are fun and easy to make. Scroll down below to see the step by step directions on how I made these cute little flowers!
First pick colors to incorporate into your layout or project.
Using your Tim Holz scissors, cut a few layers of 3 by 3 inch squares.
For my flower, I cut 5 squares.
Fold each square into a accordion fold (back and forth). The folds do not have to be perfect.
Layer all the squares together and staple the center using your Tim Holtz tiny adapter.
Spread the folds like a fan until you have a shape of a flower.
Use your favorite embellishment and place it in the center of the flower. Here I used some pearls for my center.
I love how the flowers turned out. Very fun and easy to make! I hope you enjoyed my project for this month. Feel free to leave a comment and thanks for stopping by!
